Description

Nelin is a concept of white wine with twin souls, in the words of René Barbier himself. It represents the balance between the feminine and the masculine in the splendor of youth. It is the harmony of the Priorato terroir for a Catalan cuisine at its peak. Its base of white Garnacha brings sensations of spices and quince, and Macabeo provides a note of freshness. The skin‑contact fermentation, inspired by the ancient brisats, gives a very different palate. Highlight its great ageing potential in a vintage that, according to The Wine Advocate, represents a “triumph over the extreme conditions of the year,” marked by successive heat waves.
