Redoma Branco is one of the leading figures of the Portuguese Douro white revolution and an unmistakable signature of Niepoort. It comes from old vineyards aged between 65 and 85 years, located on the right bank of the river at altitudes between 400 and 600 metres. The traditional indigenous varieties Rabigato, Códega do Larinho and Viosinho are blended naturally on the steep shale‑mica soils. After spontaneous fermentation and six months of ageing in French oak barrels, this high‑altitude white stands out for its extraordinary minerality, finesse and bursting energy.
