This Ode Viognier, awarded 89 points by Wine Review, bursts with white peach and nectarine flavours, underpinned by a touch of apricot and tropical fruits – a clear sign of a vibrant wine. The extended five-month *lees* ageing has added both body and complexity, beautifully intensifying the peach notes alongside a subtle hint of ginger and warming spices. Seriously, it’s a fantastic match with sushi or sashimi, but I’d also be tempted to pair it with a fiery Thai or Indian curry… particularly one featuring seafood.
