Description

Born from the ambitious partnership of Philippe de Rothschild and Robert Mondavi, this Opus 2012 is a testament to the pursuit of extraordinary complexity, straight from the slopes of Oakville. The exceptionally generous vintage gifted the grapes with the estate’s signature style – a depth of flavour and structure that’s sure to impress. Meticulous harvest management, spanning from September 21st to October 20th, ensures the vibrant energy of the fruit shines through. As James Suckling and Robert Parker both agree, it’s a truly remarkable wine – deserving of those coveted 97/100 and 96/100 scores. Ideal with a perfectly grilled steak, of course.
