This Original from Bairrada is a delightful demonstration of how a superb climate, combined with those classic Bical, Baga, and Touriga Nacional grapes, can produce something truly remarkable. Nuno Bastos’s careful hand – a 36-month bottle fermentation with traditional *remuage* – has resulted in a remarkably complex and structured sparkling wine, ideally suited to pairing with the subtle sweetness of oysters or the robust flavours of a well-seasoned white meat.
