Made exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc grapes, this Quinta da Pacheca displays a green‑yellow hue and a fresh aroma bursting with fruit and white flowers. On the palate it is very fresh and smooth, with good acidity and lingering finish. Quinta da Pacheca, one of the most renowned estates in the Douro, stands out for being among the first to bottle its own branded wines. The name of this estate has been referenced since April 17, 1738, when a dated document first mentions the “Quinta da Pacheca,” owned at that time by D. Mariana Pacheco Pereira. It was only in 1903 that D. José Freire de Serpa Pimentel decided to pursue his growing interest in enology, buying the property with the aim of dedicating himself to viticulture. Today, a century later, the new generation of the Serpa Pimentel family has taken over the estate’s management: Maria, Catarina, and José are the young faces of this deeply family‑oriented enterprise. *(illustrative image only)*
