Pan y Carne 2021 is a true gem paying tribute to the renaissance of one of the most distinctive and captivating grapes of Bierzo: Trousseau, known locally as Merenzao or Bastardo. This organic red comes from a few scarce hectares restored by the winemaker, who sought to give them the value they should never have lost. Harvested by hand and fermented naturally under careful supervision, the result is a fine, expressive red. On the nose it offers red fruit notes, while on the palate it stands out for its juicy texture, fine tannins that provide balance and a pleasant sense of lightness.
