This Passadouro, a project by Adalberto Ferreira, is a real tribute to the terroir of the Pinhão River – a beautiful blend of Tinta Roriz, Touriga Francesa, Touriga Nacional, and a touch of those ancient vineyard ‘campo’ blends. Robert Parker’s 90-point rating suggests a palate of intensely ripe blackcurrant, with the signature minerality you’d expect from this region, and tannins so smooth they almost whisper secrets. Seriously, it’s perfect with a good grilled beef – a pairing that’s destined to be a memorable one.
