The Pata Choca red is a distinctive wine crafted from Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional and Syrah. After ageing in French and American oak barrels it presents a clear, garnet‑colored appearance. On the nose it offers a good intensity of red and wild fruit aromas, with hints of jam, compote and chocolate. On the palate it is intense and silky, with body and a velvety richness, delivering harmony and a very long finish. Based in Sobral de Monte Agraço and founded by Diogo Zuzarte Martins, Adega Moor continues a family business that began in 1946 with the Zuzarte family. Known for their determination and hard work, they have cautiously invested over the decades, building a portfolio of about 200 hectares of own vineyards in the Lisbon wine region of Alenquer, which supply part of Adega Moor’s production.
