Description

The Esporão company was born in Alentejo from an unwavering desire to make the best wines. That motivation is the legacy of all the wines they produce and the main reason they have expanded their range to other products and territories. Quinta dos Murças, located in the heart of the Douro Controlled Designation of Origin, is defined by eight distinct terroirs shaped by the surrounding mountains, varying altitudes and sun exposures, alluvial soils, and the characteristic climate of the Douro valley. The vineyards are planted with dozens of native grape varieties under both Organic and Integrated Production systems.
