Bottles of older wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is expected given their age. The National Bottle shop is committed to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, yet it chooses to preserve the visual characteristics inherent to their age. We select brands/regions that, in general, display distinctive traits in old wine tastings. However, we must inform that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even while sealed in a bottle, its aromas are subject to various evolutions. Consequently, the National Bottle shop cannot be held liable for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe beforehand, which will help release its natural aromas after so many years closed. If you decide to decant before serving, do so patiently to detect the sediment that an old wine tends to develop.
