This Pedra Reserva is delivering a serious burst of wild berry intensity, alongside deeply concentrated black fruit – a classic Douro expression. It’s wonderfully rich and undeniably fruity, though the acidity is currently doing a fine job of providing some much-needed balance. Let’s hope it mellows with age, as it would be superb with a hearty beef roast – a truly satisfying pairing, wouldn’t you say?
