This Bin 707 is a captivating tale from Penfolds, primarily crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s the result of a relentless pursuit of perfectly ripe fruit – the very fruit the legendary ‘707’ case sought. Remarkably, the wine seems to have enjoyed a bit of a sabbatical, with periods of inactivity between 1970 and 1975, and of course, the 90s. Yet, when it finally arrives in the glass, it explodes with a fruit intensity that only such a distinctive approach can achieve.
