Description

Pêra‑Grave A red wine with a very distinctive mouthfeel, comparable to wines that command considerably higher price points. It features well‑presented tannins, a touch of rusticity and austerity. The wine is highly enjoyable, full of personality and with firm aromas. The Pêra‑Grave Reserva is produced in Alentejo, Évora, at Quinta São José de Peramanca. **Vinification** – After 48 hours of cold maceration to enrich the must with primary aromas, fermentation proceeded for 10 days at 24 °C, using “delestage” (a gentle stirring technique) to aid extraction of colour and tannins that contribute to body and mouth volume.
