This Perrin Cotes du Rhône Reserve is a white wine that boldly pushes the boundaries of the region – a real showstopper thanks to a generous blend of Grenache and Viognier. The ripe fruit, reminiscent of blackcurrants and peaches, is underpinned by a wonderfully lively acidity, certainly worthy of a classic Cassoulet pairing. It’s a wine that clearly impressed Paul Bocuse, who awarded it in 2018, and would be fantastic with cured meats or a fig salad for a truly delightful flavour contrast.
