Poças The Casa de Poças is proud to present this Port wine, the result of blending several wines from different vintages over the years, aged in oak casks of about 625 litres. **Serving suggestions** Ideal as a dessert or social wine, serve at about 17 °C or slightly chilled. It pairs perfectly with cheeses, pastries, sweets, dried fruit, light puddings and cakes. Ready to drink at bottling. **Quality** – Port Tawny 10 Years **Origin** – Portugal – Douro Valley **Sub‑region** – Tabuaço, Ervedosa do Douro (Cima Corgo), Numão (Douro Superior) **Vine age** – 20–40 years **Soil type** – Slate **Harvest** – Grapes hand‑picked in the vineyard. **Vinification** – Fermentation under temperature control, halted by addition of grape brandy. **Maturation** – Careful selection of high‑quality, old Port Tawny wines, aged in oak barrels of about 625 litres.
