Description

This Pôpa TN is a bold statement – born from a single plot in the Douro, it’s a testament to a truly hands-on approach. The grapes, predominantly Touriga Nacional, were harvested by hand and transported in 20kg wooden crates, all with a level of respect you wouldn’t normally associate with wine. A natural fermentation revealed intense phenolic character, now beautifully mellowed by a gentle maturation in used French oak barrels. The result is a concentrated, expressive wine – utterly delightful with black pork, and one that’s undoubtedly destined for a place in the memory.
