Pombal do Vesuvio The name of this red wine, Pombal do Vesúvio, evokes the Vinha do Pombal, noted for the presence of an ancient Duriense pigeon loft. The vineyard is composed of parcels of high‑quality Touriga Nacional planted in 2000 at the heart of the estate, at elevations of about 200 m above sea level. Production from these vines is an essential component of Pombal do Vesúvio, alongside Touriga Franca from Vale da Teja and Vinha das Minas, and a small amount of Tinta Amarela from Vinha da Quinta Nova. The wine ages for ten months in 400‑liter French oak barrels. After bottling, it undergoes further bottle aging for at least six months. Allergen information: contains sulfites. SKU: 105350
