Porta da Ravessa, a brand inspired by the iconic gate of the centuries-old Castle of Redondo. This Reserve red wine is made from Touriga Nacional, Syrah, and Alicante Bouschet grapes, presenting an intense ruby colour, with aromas of forest fruits and blackberry compote, combined with subtle notes of vanilla and tobacco leaves. On the palate, it reveals excellent volume and persistence. Since 1956 the Cooperative Winery of Redondo has been devoted to Alentejo wines. After 65 years, located in the heart of Alentejo, it has been modernising, also adapting to new market demands. The wines produced come from grapes of about 200 associated producers, allowing rigorous quality control and total traceability from vineyard to consumer. (illustrative image only)
