Its aroma is dominated by dark fruits, complemented by mineral notes, spices and subtle balsamic nuances. The wine is full‑bodied, with powerful tannins and an extraordinary freshness. Celso Pereira and Jorge Alves might have had the nickname “Quanta Terra,” if it weren’t for them being the embodiment of the wine brand. More than a passionate obsession of the people behind the wine world, Quanta Terra began taking its first steps in the 1990s, when the two met while working in the Enology Department at the Transmontana Cellars. They quickly developed a professional rapport that would lay the foundation for Quanta Terra, which at that time was still just an idea.
