This Quinta da Devesa Unfiltered Porto is a bold statement. The deep ruby colour hints at ancient secrets, leading to a nose brimming with ripe black fruit – think plump plums at their finest – alongside whispers of cocoa and dark chocolate. On the palate, the intensity remains, with the elegant structure of tannins from the ‘Vinhas Velhas’ (Old Vines) driving a remarkably long and captivating finish. It’s exceptionally good with grilled fish, particularly a classic bacalhau with potatoes and coriander.
