This Touriga Nacional bursts with colour, a little *too* enthusiastic perhaps – let’s be honest, intensity is a key trait of the grape. On the palate, the power is beautifully restrained, smoothed by the blend of 30 clones employed. Quinta da Falorca clearly has a knack for this variety, likely thanks to their painstaking, hand-harvested approach, utilising those hefty 18kg crates. A rich beef dish would be a fantastic accompaniment, perfectly balancing the wine’s robust character.
