This Raspa Saias from Real Companhia Velha is a lively young red, boasting a wonderfully inviting ruby hue. Predominantly made with Touriga Nacional and Aragonez, it’s brimming with fresh red fruit notes, beautifully complemented by the herbal nuances characteristic of the Douro Valley. A gentle vanilla whisper from 8 months spent in French oak adds a subtle layer of complexity, and it’s exceptionally drinkable – ideal with small plates of Iberian pork or a perfectly grilled fish.
