Quinta da Folgosa Velha White is made from Durién grape varieties in stainless‑steel tanks at low temperatures, allowing for a slow fermentation that brings out the most exuberant aromas. The result is a citrine‑colored wine that is light, fresh, and perfumed with floral and citrus notes, with a mineral profile on the palate. The Agricultural Society Quinta da Folgosa Velha is a family business owned by the Figueiredo family. On their 16‑hectare estate in Folgosa do Douro, they produce Durién wine from their own vineyards, some of which are old vines around 45 years old. The wines of Quinta da Folgosa Velha are crafted from carefully selected grapes and fermented in granite vats, delivering in the glass the traditional character of Douro wines.
