Quinta da Folgosa Velha white wine is produced from Duriñes grapes in stainless‑steel tanks at low temperatures for a slow fermentation, designed to draw out the most exuberant aromas. It presents a bright, citrine hue, light and fresh, with floral and citrus notes and a mineral profile on the palate. The Quinta da Folgosa Velha Agricultural Society is a family‑run business owned by the Figueiredo family. On their approximately 16‑hectare estate in Folgosa do Douro they grow their own vineyards, including old vines about 45 years old. The wines are made from carefully selected grapes and fermented in granite vats, delivering the traditional Douro wine profile on the glass. (Illustrative image only)
