This Romaneira is a delightful surprise, born from a particularly demanding 2021/2022 harvest in the Douro. The early harvest, driven by intense heat and drought, yielded a remarkably aromatic, fresh, and balanced white. The careful use of Boal, Viosinho and Rabigato, vinified separately, alongside a four-month batonnage in new French oak barrels, has created a wine with a persistent finish and a remarkably low residual sugar – a beautiful match for fresh fish and shellfish.
