The fruit is incredibly concentrated, evoking a real sense of the forest, while the nose reveals a surprising delicacy alongside its robust character. It finishes long, with lingering mineral notes – perhaps reminiscent of the region’s granite – and a structure that would be superb with a hearty beef roast.
