Quinta das Bágeiras Made from Maria Gomes grapes, this wine comes from a vineyard whose yield was significantly reduced and harvested relatively early, so that the high natural acidity develops into a long‑lived white. It was vinified by open fermentation, with the must placed in small 1‑m³ decanters where it remained for 24 to 36 hours to allow decantation through natural precipitation. After this stage, it fermented in used French oak barrels. A brief bâtonnage was performed and the wine matured in the barrels until it became fully clear, naturally.
