Quinta das Brôlhas All vineyards at Quinta das Brôlhas are divided into different plots, and each plot is hand‑harvested. The grapes are selected before they enter the cellar. They are destemmed and pressed in vats for 1 to 3 days before fermentation begins, which takes place in the same vats. The wines are stomped by foot every night, and the old “macacos” are used to lower the blanket during the day. Once fermentation is complete, the wines are cleaned and transferred to stainless‑steel tanks for malolactic fermentation. The Quinta das Brôlhas Reserva is then aged for 18 months, part in new 225‑litre French oak barrels and part in used 225‑litre French oak barrels. Allergen information: Contains sulfites.
