This Quinta das Mestras Reserva (limited edition 2017) is a lovely tribute to tradition, showcasing the influence of the Dão’s granite and sandy terroir, primarily through the Touriga Nacional and Aragonez. The tannins are beautifully integrated after 15 months in stainless steel, followed by 7 in French oak, resulting in a remarkably persistent finish – ideal with a hearty beef dish, as the house suggests.
