Quinta D’Azinheira Region: Baixo Corgo, Demarcated Region of the Douro (RDD). The Quinta D’Azinheira is situated in the authentic village of Azinheira (Santa Marta de Penaguião), in an amphitheatre of extraordinary natural beauty on the left bank of the Corgo River. Production is made exclusively from estate‑grown grapes, cultivated on the property between 300 and 400 metres above sea level. **Grape vines:** Old vines aged between 40 and 80 years, planted in chalky soils with high gravel content, which give identity and complexity to the wine. **Harvest and winemaking:** Alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature of 12 °C for 30 days.
