Born from the heart of the Douro, where the river flows and Pocinho’s boats rest, comes this Quinta de Azinhate Reserva. This vineyard, boasting a venerable 128 years, climbs to 425 metres, generously planted with Touriga Nacional and Aragonez. Expect firm, elegant tannins and a beautiful expression of black fruit – think blackberry and black cherry – alongside a hint of vanilla, likely a consequence of those exceptionally old vines (over 40 years!). Perfect with a hearty grilled steak, naturally.
