The Durienses wines of Rui Roboredo Madeira are produced in the cellar located in São João da Pesqueira, where everything began in 1999. The first wine released was under the Castello D'Alba label, which is still sold today. In one of the most remote areas of the Iberian Peninsula, in the Raian region between the Upper Douro and Beira Alta, the family's passion for the aromas and scents of the land that shape his character gave rise to Rui Roboredo Madeira’s love for winemaking. After years of experience and living in other parts of the world, Rui brings back what he has learned to his roots, launching a personal wine‑production project, always with the utmost respect for nature.
