The Durienses wines of Rui Roboredo Madeira are produced in a cellar located in São João da Pesqueira, where everything began in 1999. The first wine released was under the Castello D'Alba label, which is still sold today. In one of the most remote parts of the Iberian Peninsula, in the rain‑soaked area between the Upper Douro and Beira Alta, Rui Roboredo Madeira’s passion for the aromas and scents of the land that shape his character was born within his family. After years of experience and life in other parts of the world, Rui brings back to his roots everything he has learned, launching a personal wine‑making project that always respects nature to the fullest.
