This Bairrada wine initially appears quite delicate, but it quickly reveals a remarkably robust structure and a depth of flavour you wouldn’t expect. The extended ageing in *foudres* has imparted a wonderfully pronounced minerality, beautifully complemented by dried fruit notes characteristic of Bical and Fernão Pires. Seriously, it’s brilliant with game or a creamy white meat dish – a winning combination!
