This Late Harvest from Quinta de Carapeços is undoubtedly a small masterpiece. The February harvest and full-cluster pressing result in an incredibly concentrated must, which then benefits from extended aging in the vineyard, developing remarkable complexity and elegance. It’s a fantastic pairing for foie gras, or perhaps a surprisingly delightful match with spiced pumpkin chutney – a boldness that Carapeços clearly embrace.
