The Quinta de la Rosa is a pioneer in the Douro region, renowned for its top‑tier wines and ports. Its history dates back to 1815. Though it has undergone a few changes, it has always remained part of the founding family, and in 1988 it re‑entered the market with the production of its first house Port. Today, the estate is represented by the Quinta de la Rosa and Quinta das Bandeiras wines, which are celebrated not only for the quality of their ranges but also for their integrated hotel and restaurant facilities, offering a fresh perspective on the Douro region. Quinta de la Rosa covers about 62 hectares on the north bank of the river, producing wines that are rich and exhibit remarkable acidity, minerality, and freshness.
