This wine from Quinta de Pancas certainly seems to have had a spirited fermentation – with the Touriga Nacional particularly aging in French oak barrels. The result is a deeply complex ruby wine, echoing the colour of tinta da china and boasting herbaceous notes, hinting at a long life ahead. Remarkably balanced tannins, vibrant acidity, and aging potential make it a fantastic match for grilled beef, or perhaps even a chicken stroganoff – an intriguing pairing, wouldn't you say?
