Since 1999, Quinta do Ferro has been a true innovator in Vinho Verde, being the first cellar to produce sparkling wine from scratch. This ruby-red sparkling wine, crafted from the indigenous Vinhão and Avesso grapes grown in a uniquely sheltered granite microclimate, represents a fascinating blend of tradition and daring. The traditional foot-pumping, meticulous temperature control, and year-long natural lees aging contribute to a wonderfully complex and genuinely authentic character.
