This Gradil is a real powerhouse, bursting onto the scene with a wonderfully intense expression of smoked plum and black cherry – thanks largely to the signature Touriga Nacional. The Tannat adds a welcome layer of elegance, and the judicious use of both new and seasoned oak lends a luxuriously smooth texture and a lingering spicy finish. Seriously impressive, and rightly recognised with 16 points by Revista de Vinhos – perfect with a hearty grilled steak or slow-roasted lamb.
