Quinta do Infantado Class A Vineyards (the highest classification in the Douro Demarcated Region). The vintages of Quinta do Infantado come from old vineyards featuring a wide range of noble Douro grape varieties. All vineyards are cultivated under certified integrated production, aiming to minimise negative environmental impacts. Vinification: Grapes are transported in 20‑kg crates. Mechanical crushing with partial destemming is followed by fermentation in a cellar with mechanical pressing. Indigenous yeasts are used, and fermentation is halted with 77 % wine spirit. The wine ages in oak barrels and casks that are over 100 years old. Bottling took place on the estate on 29 August 2019. No filtering or fining were applied; 280 magnums, 5,830 bottles and 1,101 half‑bottles were produced, all numbered. Viticulture: José Carlos Oliveira and João Roseira. Enology: Luís Soares Duarte and Álvaro Roseira.
