Viticulture at Quinta do Paral A has been part of Ribatejo’s identity since the days of Portugal’s formation, with the harvest being one of the most beloved festivals of the people living on the fertile banks of the Tagus. From the 1.5 hectares of vineyards cultivated in Almeirim—on alluvial soil that is sandy with rolled limestone—this Gutta Supera is born. After harvest and manual selection of whole bunches, the grapes are destemmed and gently pressed, then fermented at a controlled temperature (12º–16º) in stainless‑steel tanks.
