Occasional rain during the harvest period positively impacted maturation, delivering high‑quality, aromatic musts with generally higher acidity than previous years. Vinification and ageing: Harvest took place in September. Grapes were transported in 22 kg crates to the cellar, spent 12 h in a refrigeration chamber, then were carried by gravity to the vats where full fermentation occurred with foot stomping. The wine aged 12 months in 225 L and 600 L French and Austrian oak barrels and casks, and was bottled in June 2021.
