This young Douro red – boasting a frankly imposing purple hue – is a serious arrival. Predominantly sourced from Tinta Barroca and Touriga Nacional, with a touch of Aragonez bringing a rustic edge, it bursts with concentrated dark fruit flavours reminiscent of sun-dried raisins. Remarkably vibrant, it’s a fantastic partner for a good Iberian ham, or perhaps some perfectly slow-roasted ribs.
