Let’s just say this Quinta do Vallado Reserva has spent a *generous* 17 months in French oak. The result is a rather emphatic nose of wood and tobacco – perhaps a little *too* emphatic, mellowing slightly with each sip. It’s a full-bodied wine with firm tannins, and frankly, it’ll really sing with a hearty beef dish, offering a finish that’s absolutely worth lingering over.
Tinto
Sousão, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Francesa, Tempranillo, Aragonez, Touriga Nacional, Trincadeira
