This Vallado Reserva Branco is a wonderfully curious wine, clearly shaped by its extended periods in French oak – specifically from the Allier, Vosges, and Nevers forests. The batonnage technique, as expected, has imparted beautiful mineral notes that play wonderfully alongside the fruit and smoky nuances. It’s a full-bodied wine with a vibrant acidity and a lingering finish, practically begging for a long, thoughtful savouring. Seriously, it would be fantastic with grilled fish or a classic Bacalhau à Brás – you’ll discover layers of complexity you didn't know were there.
