Quinta dos Aciprestes Tinto is a true classic of the Douro, made from old vines over 50 years old, where the dominant grape is Tinta Barroca, complemented by Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão and Tinta Amarela. This selection of traditional varieties gives the wine a unique identity, marked by complexity, rusticity and a distinct Dúrciense character. With a deep ruby colour, it presents aromas of ripe red fruit in perfect harmony with subtle vanilla notes from its eight months of aging in French oak barrels. On the palate it is intense, elegant and powerful, with round tannins and a balanced, enveloping profile. It can be cellared for up to 10 years or enjoyed now; it pairs wonderfully with traditional dishes such as Tripas à Moda do Porto, veal risotto or a Bolognese pasta. Serve at an ideal temperature of 16 °C to fully appreciate its structure and aromatic richness.
