Quinta dos Aciprestes Tinto is a true classic of the Douro, made from old vines more than 50 years old, where the dominant variety is Tinta Barroca, complemented by Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão and Tinta Amarela. This selection of traditional grapes gives the wine a unique identity, marked by complexity, rusticity and a distinctly Durián character. With a deep ruby colour, it offers aromas of ripe red fruit in perfect harmony with subtle vanilla notes from its eight‑month aging in French oak barrels. On the palate it is intense, elegant and powerful, with round tannins and an engaging, balanced profile. Ideal for aging up to ten years or enjoying now, this wine pairs perfectly with traditional dishes such as Tripas à Moda do Porto, veal risotto or a Bolognese pasta. Serve at an ideal temperature of 16 °C to fully appreciate its structure and aromatic richness.
