Quinta dos Roques A wine that satisfies both lovers of young, fruit‑forward wines and those who appreciate bottle maturation. Within 10 years, it will certainly develop greater complexity and become a source of pride for the winemaker. **Harvest and Vintage** The 2019 vintage proved very balanced, allowing the production of grapes of excellent quality. A dry, mild winter was followed by a less rainy spring than usual, except for April, which had slightly above‑average precipitation, helping to prevent vine diseases and encouraging good flowering of all the varieties. Summer months brought high temperatures, typical for the season (but without the excesses seen in 2018). Two light rain days in August and another two in September helped re‑balance the vines’ water status, contributing to a well‑balanced ripening and excellent vine health. Harvest took place between 10 September and 4 October, in relaxed conditions with dry, sunny weather. The grapes showed homogeneous ripening, excellent health, and concentration, with a remarkable balance between sugars and acidity. **Vinification** Touriga Nacional (45 %), Jaen (20 %), Alfrocheiro (15 %), Tinta Roriz (5 %), Tinto Cão (3 %), Rufete (2 %) and other varieties (10 %). Single‑vineyard (Single Vineyard) and field‑blend (Field Blend). All grapes come from the Pessegueiro vineyard, where the varieties are planted together. Complete destemming followed by gentle pressing. Fermentation in stainless‑steel tanks with selected yeasts, at controlled temperatures between 28 °C and 30 °C. Maceration lasted 12 days with gentle punch‑downs. **Maturation** 10‑month aging in 225 L French oak barrels. **Bottling** The wine was subjected to only a light filtration with cellulose cartridges to preserve its integrity.
