This wine, from Quinta Nova Vinha Centenária, is a wonderfully robust testament to family dreams – particularly when seasoned with over two centuries of cork-making tradition. Crafted with Aragonez, it’s the ambitious undertaking of the Amorim family – now in their fourth generation – who previously dedicated themselves to cork. The 1764 cellar is a wonderfully historical embrace, designed by Arnaldo Barbosa, and the vineyard, with its preserved root system, seems to hold onto the very secrets of time. A perfect pairing with *carne de porco à alentejana*, no question.
