La Pretensión is a non‑fortified white wine, made entirely from Moscatel grown in the Balbaína Baja vineyard in Jerez. It is a small‑production white wine (only 1,300 bottles), whose uniqueness lies in being aged in two 350‑litre cognac casks, one with a veil and the other refilled weekly. The result is a wine with a pronounced citrus note on the nose and a strong saltiness on the palate—tasty and delicate.
