This Ravasqueira is a seriously meticulous wine – they pressed at a cool 2°C, quite the commitment! The winemakers clearly obsessed over selecting only the best bunches, utilizing a “tapete de escolha”. Following fermentation in stainless steel with just a touch of French oak (20% new, 80% old), and a gentle 5-month battonage, the result is a remarkably complex and elegant wine. Notably, it snagged a Gold Medal at the International Wine Challenge and Wine Enthusiast, proving that a healthy dose of caution can indeed pay off. Absolutely divine with grilled white fish or shellfish.
